SCIENCE SCHOOL ASSEMBLY

Students interact throughout the high energy, motivating, dynamic and educational program exploring the wonders of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math from the perspective of one of the world’s greatest thinkers. Through Albert Einstein’s unconventionality, students are stimulated to discover how scientific principles are derived during ED METZGER’s entertaining demonstrations.

Actor ED METZGER has presented CLOSE ENCOUNTERS WITH EINSTEIN at school districts throughout the country.

ED METZGER is the only actor to have the official Endorsement from The Einstein family.

Veteran Actor ED METZGER conducts a comprehensive THEATER ARTS WORKSHOP, complete with demonstrations of various acting methods, sense-memory exercises, improvisation techniques, relaxation and concentration procedures.

ED METZGER leads a discussion about Albert Einstein the philosopher, humorist, scientist, husband, father, humanitarian, and unconventional thinker. Major events in world history provide the focus of this seminar.

ED METZGER examines what happened historically as the United States entered World War II and the Atomic and Nuclear Age.

Her talk includes information about what is needed to obtain an agent, the audition process for tv and film, review of actors photos - bio - disk, the SAG contract, and entertaining situations.

“ACTORFEST”
Appropriate For: High School -University - Incarcerated Youth
THEATER ARTS WORKSHOP

ED METZGER and LAYA GELFF METZGER present a dynamic two-week hands-on residency where students learn a new discipline, and discover that the theater can be an untraditional method of expression.

Students develop acting techniques in preparation for an evening of their performed scenes. Under the guise of theater, they emotionally extend themselves within the controlled environment of the script.

The residency culminates in an evening where students perform their scenes in front of an audience in the “ACTORFEST SCENE EVENT.” Current topics such as bullying, peer pressure, substance abuse, alcoholism, etc.were written by Ed Metzger and LayaGelff Metzger.

Workshops are fully interactive.

Appropriate For: High schools and universities. Also for incarcerated youth-at-risk.
